Russian prez says Khodorkovsky poses no danger

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev says that jailed oil tycoon Mikhail Khodorkovsky would pose no public danger if he is released.
Medvedev, however, stopped short of saying Wednesday if he plans to pardon the tycoon, who is serving a 14-year prison sentence seen as a political punishment for challenging the Kremlin.
Asked by a reporter if Khodorkovsky would pose any danger to the public if released from jail, Medvedev only said he would pose "absolutely no danger." He didn't elaborate.
