Decathletes Clay, Sebrle pull out of Hypo Meeting

Olympic decathlon champion Bryan Clay of the United States and Czech rival Roman Sebrle, the world record holder, have pulled out of the Hypo Meeting later this month because of injury.
Organizers say Clay, who won the event for a second time last year, injured his groin in practice and is unlikely to compete before the U.S. national trials for the Aug. 27-28 world championships in Daegu, South Korea.
Organizers say Sebrle, a five-time Hypo winner, has torn an abdominal muscle.
The 37th edition of the Hypo Meeting is scheduled for May 28-29 in Goetzis, Austria.
