Roddick out of Open de Nice with shoulder injury

Andy Roddick has withdrawn from the Open de Nice and is in doubt for the French Open because of a right shoulder injury.
Nice organizers said Tuesday that Roddick was hurt in last week's Italian Open and has pulled out of Wednesday's match against Victor Hanescu.
Roddick says he doesn't want to take any risks ahead of the French Open, which starts on Sunday.
The former U.S. Open champion says "the situation is not perfect for Roland Garros but I still have a couple of days to hope for something to get better."
