Judge: Blago lawyers throwing arguments at wall

The federal judge in former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich's corruption retrial has suggested his attorneys are desperately bringing up impermissible legal arguments.
Judge James Zagel told attorneys Tuesday they seemed to be "throwing stuff at the wall and seeing if it sticks." Zagel says he doesn't blame them for trying, but warned he won't let them do it.
His comments came as the defense asked to question road-building leader Gerald Krozel about his history of making political contributions.
Zagel denied that request. He says Krozel's donations aren't relevant to charges Blagojevich once attempted to squeeze him for campaign cash.
The charges against Blagojevich include allegations that he tried to sell President Barack Obama's vacant Senate seat. Blagojevich denies all wrongdoing.
