Czech deputy PM resigns

Czech Prime Minister Petr Necas has accepted the resignation of his deputy Radek John.
John _ chairman of the junior coalition Public Affairs party _ stepped down as interior minister last month to take over a newly created post of vice premier in charge of fighting corruption.
But he announced last week that he would step down because Necas and members of his conservative Civic Democratic Party opposed his choice of his deputies.
It was not immediately clear Tuesday who could replace John.
Representatives of the three parties that form the Czech center-right government are scheduled to address the issue on Wednesday.
