Allied Irish sells its stake in Bulgarian bank

The Bulgarian-American Credit Bank (BACB) says a private investment company has bought Allied Irish Banks 49.99 percent stake in the bank.
The sale is subject to regulatory approval, the bank said in a press release on Tuesday. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed.
Sofia-based Clever Synergies Investment Fund, owned by Bulgarian businesswoman Tsvetelina Borislavova, has acquired the stake.
The Bulgarian-American Credit Bank AD, or BACB, was established in 1996 and listed on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange in March 2006.
Allied Irish Banks bought the minority stake in 2008 for euro216 million ($302 million).
