AP Exclusive: Iran sticks to building nuke plants

An intelligence report says leaders of earthquake-prone Iran have rejected concerns by top scientists about a plan to build a national nuclear reactor network after Japan's nuclear disaster.
An official from a member country of the International Atomic Energy Agency says the leaderships decision was reached shortly after the March 11 earthquake and tsunami that crippled Japan's Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear complex.
The official says that the leaders studied and rejected a report warning about the "risks of establishing nuclear sites in the proximity of fault lines" in 20 provinces.
The official who spoke recently to The Associated Press, asked for anonymity in exchange for divulging intelligence information.
