UK: NATO prepared for lengthy Libya campaign

Britain's defense secretary says that NATO and its allies are prepared for a lengthy continuation of their air campaign in Libya.
Liam Fox told lawmakers on Monday that contingency plans are in place for a variety of scenarios _ including many more months of operations _ but said he hopes Moammar Gadhafi will bow to international pressure and quit.
Fox says the "hope for all of us is that Col. Gadhafi will recognize the game is up."
The defense secretary also confirmed NATO is discussing what additional facilities could be targeted under the U.N. Security Council resolutions authorizing the campaign.
He said the international community "will not cease until the task is properly carried out."
