Czech government faces crisis

The Czech Republic's three-party government faces an uncertain future after a junior coalition party rejected a request from Prime Minister Petr Necas to replace two of its ministers.
Karolina Peake who heads the Public Affairs party's parliamentary faction says the request for Interior Minister Radek John and Education Minister Josef Dobes to step down is unacceptable. She says party lawmakers meet Saturday to discuss the crisis.
Necas asked for the reshuffle late Friday, hours after he accepted the resignation of Transport Minister Vit Barta who was accused of bribery by two members of Public Affairs.
The premier's conservative Civic Democratic Party also meets Saturday.
