Mohammad Hafeez scored an unbeaten 61 and took two wickets as Pakistan secured a World Cup semifinal spot with a humbling 10-wicket victory over West Indies on Wednesday.
After winning the toss and batting, the West Indies were skittled for 112, with only Shivnarine Chanderpaul unbeaten 44 helping the Caribbean team avoid its lowest ever World Cup total.
Shahid Afridi took 4-30, with Hafeez and Saeed Ajmal snaring two wickets each.
Hafeez and Kamran Akmal (47) combined to guided Pakistan to victory with 175 balls to spare, reaching 113 without loss after blazing 25 runs in the first two overs.
Pakistan will play either host India or defending champion Australia in the semifinals at Mohali next Wednesday.
