Inquest into London bombings sets date for verdict

Britain's inquest into London's July 7, 2005 suicide bombings will release verdicts from the presiding judge on May 6.
Four suicide bombers killed 52 commuters on three London subway trains and a bus on that day.
The inquest, which was intended to answer questions about how and why the victims died, concluded earlier this month after hearing evidence from 309 witnesses.
The inquiry was plagued by years of delays from legal proceedings.
The inquest's website on Wednesday said Judge Heather Hallett will announce the verdicts, a summary of any recommendations and rule on whether inquests into the deaths of the four bombers should be resumed.
