Anderson on course for 1st ATP title

Home favorite Kevin Anderson is on course for a first ATP title after reaching the quarterfinals of the SA Tennis Open at Montecasino with a straight-sets win over Dudi Sela.
Fourth-seeded Anderson, the highest-seeded player left in the tournament, took just over an hour for his 6-2, 6-4 win on Thursday, hitting 13 aces to just one from the Israeli.
Anderson will meet unseeded Slovak Karol Beck, who eventually prevailed 3-6, 7-5, 6-0 in a topsy-turvy match with Japan's Go Soeda.
Later today, sixth-seeded Adrian Mannarino of France will play Denis Grelmayer for a place in the last eight, while Frank Dancevic will take on South African wild card Fritz Wolmarans.
