Canadian bus driver seen texting while driving

A Toronto public transit bus driver faces possible dismissal after a passenger snapped a photo of him illegally texting behind the wheel.
Toronto Transit Commission spokesman Brad Ross said Friday that the driver's behavior is a serious breach of public safety and commission rules.
Texting while driving has been banned on Ontario roads since October 2009, and violators face fines of up to $502.
The man who snapped the photo says the bus was carrying about 30 people on Wednesday afternoon at a speed of 50 kilometers per hour (about 30 mph).
It's not the first time the Toronto Transit Commission has taken a hit from a member of the public taking a photo. Last January, someone photographed a fare collector sleeping on the job.
