Nesbitt, Wolf dominate speedskating World Cup

Christine Nesbitt won the women's 1,500-meter speedskating World Cup on Saturday to remain unbeaten at the distance this season.
The Canadian, who won her maiden sprint world championship title last Sunday, timed 1 minute, 56.80 seconds on the Krylatskoye Ice Stadium oval for her fourth straight World Cup victory at the distance.
Jan Smeekens of the Netherlands won his first World Cup race of the season by edging Akio Ota and Tucker Fredricks in the men's 500.
In the women's 500, world record-holder Jenny Wolf of Germany earned her 45th World Cup win and seventh of this season in the distance.
