Cuban dissident held for second time

The mother of a well-known Cuban dissident says authorities have detained him for a second time in as many days, this time holding him overnight.
Alicia Hernandez tells The Associated Press that Guillermo Farinas was taken into custody Thursday afternoon along with about 15 other people and was still being held early Friday. She says she does not know why he was detained for a second time.
Farinas gained fame after staging a 148-day hunger strike last year. He was picked up on Wednesday afternoon while he and more than 20 other people tried to prevent a woman from being evicted from a home. He was released five hours later with a warning, only to be detained again the next day.
