Romanian prosecutors to investigate lawmaker death

Romanian prosecutors have launched an investigation into the death of a lawmaker, after relatives accused doctors of not giving her proper care.
Liana Dumitrescu, 38, died Thursday after a week in a Bucharest hospital.
Doctors said she died from thrombophilia, a disease that causes blood to clot. They said her health deteriorated rapidly, despite treatment. She suffered a stroke within two hours of being hospitalized.
Dumitrescu's parents accused doctors of not allowing her transfer to a clinic abroad.
The Health Minister Attila Cseke said Dumitrescu received proper treatment.
