SKorea repatriates North Korean fisherman

An official says South Korea has repatriated a North Korean fisherman rescued from a boat drifting in South Korean waters.
South Korean Unification Ministry spokeswoman Lee Jong-joo says the fisherman was sent back to the North on Friday at the border village of Panmunjom.
She says the man was rescued by a South Korean vessel near the disputed western sea border with North Korea on Dec. 25.
She says the man told South Korean investigators he wanted to go back to North Korea.
The Korean peninsula is still technically at war because their three-year conflict in the 1950s ended with an armistice, not a peace treaty.
