Water crisis eases in Northern Ireland

More than 4,000 homes are still without water in Northern Ireland, and the company at the center of the 10-day crisis is promising a full review into its response to widespread service disruptions.
The chairman of Northern Ireland Water's board said Friday that the company's response to leaking pipes that crippled the supply system and cut off water to tens of thousands of homes was inadequate. But he says the situation is improving.
Padraic White says Northern Ireland Water's first priority is restoring service but that a full review of the "unprecedented" situation will take place.
On Thursday, the company warned it could be early next week before all customers are reconnected to supply.
