Dinner cruise boat runs aground off Maui

A boat carrying 60 people on a dinner cruise ran aground in an Hawaiian harbor, but passengers were rescued by another vessel.
Coast Guard petty officer Anthony Soto says the 65-foot (20-meter) Spirit of Lahaina was just leaving Maui's Lahaina Harbor at 5:30 p.m. Thursday when the catarman ran aground.
He says the stricken vessel was very close to shore and another boat was able to quickly evacuate all the passengers and bring them back to the dock. No one was injured.
He says the cause of the grounding wasn't immediately known and was under investigation.
