UK's David Miliband: I won't take Washington job

Britain's former foreign secretary David Miliband says he isn't in line to be appointed as the country's next ambassador to the United States.
Media in the U.K. had reported that Miliband _ a close ally of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton _ would be offered the post.
The 45-year-old was narrowly beaten by younger brother Ed Miliband to become leader of the main opposition Labour Party following the organization's defeat in a national election in May. He is remains a lawmaker at the House of Commons.
Miliband wrote on his Twitter account late Wednesday that he was not in the running to become Britain's U.S. ambassador.
Britain's Foreign Office said on Thursday that no decision has been made on replacing outgoing ambassador Nigel Sheinwald.
