Croatian parliament OKs Cabinet reshuffle

Croatian lawmakers have approved the Cabinet reshuffle that the prime minister says is designed to get the country out of an economic downturn a year before new elections.
Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor replaced four ministers _ finance, defense, culture and construction _ and created a new post of deputy prime minister in charge of investment.
The chamber, where Kosor holds a majority, voted to support the changes on Wednesday.
Kosor says the new ministers should help overcome a two-year-long financial crisis and speed up the country's EU entry.
The opposition says the changes are only cosmetic and meant to improve Kosor's Croatian Democratic Union's image ahead of the elections.
The party's ratings fell due to the financial crisis and corruption scandals.
