Czech D Senkerik wheeled off after being hit

Czech Republic defenseman Petr Senkerik was wheeled off the ice on a stretcher after being checked under the chin in a game against Canada at the World Junior Hockey Championship tournament.
After showing little movement while being attended to by trainers at center ice, Senkerik moved his head and put his arm to his face as he was wheeled down a hallway.
He was hurt 6 minutes into the second period on Tuesday. As Senkerik got rid of the puck in the neutral zone, Canada forward Zack Kassian cruised through the middle and caught Senkerik under the chin with his left shoulder.
There was no immediate update on the player's status.
Kassian was issued a 5-minute match penalty for a hit to the head, and ejected from the game.
