Serb war crimes suspect arrested in Montenegro

Serbia's war crimes prosecutor's office says a suspect sought for atrocities against civilians during Kosovo's 1998-99 war has been arrested in Montenegro.
Tuesday's statement says former paramilitary fighter Milojko Nikolic is wanted in the killing and torture of 44 ethnic Albanians in the western Kosovo village of Cuska in May 1999.
The crime is among the most brutal of the Kosovo war. The Serb paramilitaries rounded up the villagers, robbed them, separated the women and children from the men, whom they locked in a house and set it on fire.
Another suspect in the case was arrested last week in Germany, and nine members of the paramilitary unit Sakali, or Jackals, are on trial.
Serbia has moved to deal with its wartime past as it seeks EU membership.
