Italy's Innerhofer fastest in downhill training

Christof Innerhofer of Italy had the fastest time in the final practice run on the fast Saslong course ahead of a World Cup downhill race scheduled for Saturday.
Innerhofer clocked 1 minute, 57.76 seconds, more than three seconds faster than last year's winning time by Canadian Manuel Osborne-Paradis.
Austria's Michael Walchhofer, the 2007 and '08 winner, was 0.06 behind in second.
Andreas Sander was 0.27 back in third wearing bib number 64. The 21-year-old German has just one career World Cup start.
Bode Miller of the United States was fourth, trailing Innerhofer by 0.30.
Didier Cuche was sixth, 0.48 back, after being quickest in Wednesday's training session.
Val Gardena stages a World Cup super-G race on Friday.
