Panathinaikos beats Panserraikos 2-0, leads league

Defending champion Panathinaikos beat visiting Panserraikos 2-0 to lead the Greek league on Saturday.
Lazaros Christodoulopoulos set up both goals for Jean-Alain Boumsong and Djibril Cisse, who posted a league-leading 13th.
The match was interrupted for 10 minutes from the 6th minute when tear gas used by police outside the stadium to push back rioting youths affected the players.
Panathinaikos leads the standings with 30 points from 13 games. Archrival Olympiakos, which visits Kavala on Sunday, is three points behind.
Also on Saturday, newcomer Kerkyra beat host Panionios 1-0, and Iraklis and Ergotelis drew 1-1.
Panathinaikos was more aggressive in the opening minutes, squandering a major chance in the 9th when a low drive by French winger Sidney Govou grazed Velimir Radman's right post.
Panathinaikos took the lead in the 16th, with defender Boumsong heading in a free kick from Christodoulopoulos for his first goal for the Athens club.
In the 33rd, a powerful shot by Chumbinho forced Alexandros Tzorvas to make a diving save.
In the 69th, Christodoulopoulos charged into the area, drawing defenders and the keeper before crossing for Cisse to score.
Six minutes later, the visitors came close to pulling one back but Tzorvas jumped high to send a shot by Leozinho over his bar.
On Sunday, it's Xanthi vs. Volos, Atromitos vs. AEK, Larissa vs. PAOK and Aris vs. Asteras.
