Injury-hit Rangers beats Aberdeen 2-0

First-half goals from Kenny Miller and Vladimir Weiss secured a 2-0 victory for injury-hit Rangers against Aberdeen on Saturday.
While not as emphatic as Celtic's 9-0 trashing of Aberdeen last weekend, the defending champions are four points clear of their Glasgow rival at the top of the Scottish Premier League. Celtic is at St. Mirren on Sunday.
Rangers manager Walter Smith was only able to name six instead of the permitted seven substitutes.
Maurice Edu and Sasa Papac were already ruled out and Kyle Lafferty was a late addition to the injury list. Steven Naismith and Kirk Broadfoot also picked up injuries Saturday at Ibrox.
But Smith says that "we've got a week's break now and I hope that some of the injuries will clear up."
