Gareth Bale's performances against Inter Milan have taken Tottenham to the brink of progress in its first season in the Champions League, and the English club now has to make sure he is still there if it makes it.
The Wales winger's man-of-the-match performance in Tuesday's 3-1 win over Inter Milan put Spurs in a great position to reach the next round but also showed Europe's powerhouses just how valuable he is.
Former Inter great Luis Figo said "he's just amazing, amazing. He killed us twice."
Bale tore apart the defending champion's defense for the second straight match, setting up two goals to take the English club to the top of its group with two matches left.
