Poland, China boost trade cooperation

Poland and China have signed several business agreements that will strengthen economic ties between the two nations.
The deals were signed Wednesday during a visit to Warsaw by Jia Qinglin, the No. 4 ranking leader in China's Communist Party. He was accompanied by a group of businessmen.
The deals included a sale of Polish copper to China and long-term cooperation by electronics and chemical companies.
A broad declaration of cooperation was also signed by Poland's Economy Minister Waldemar Pawlak and China's deputy commerce minister, Jiang Zengwei.
In the first eight months of 2010, Polish exports to China amounted to (EURO)0.8 billion ($1.1 billion) and imports were (EURO)7.8 billion.
