2 killed, 50 injured in earthquake in Serbia

Authorities say a 5.3-magnitude earthquake rattled central Serbia overnight, killing at least two people and injuring 50.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake struck 125 kilometers (75 miles) south of the Serbian capital, Belgrade, early Wednesday.
Media reports say the hardest hit area was around the town of Kraljevo. State TV reports the earthquake destroyed or damaged buildings and left parts of the town without electricity, running water or telephone lines.
Serbia's Interior Minister Ivica Dacic says a couple died in a Kraljevo suburb when their house collapsed, while 50 people were injured.
The earthquake was also felt in a wider area of Serbia including the capital, Belgrade.
