Pakistan manager briefs players on code of conduct

Pakistan manager Intikhab Alam has briefed national team players about a strict code of conduct after the ICC ordered the Pakistan Cricket Board to shore up its ability to prevent match fixing.
Alam told reporters on Monday that he gave a one-hour lecture to players who are set to compete against South Africa in the series in the United Arab Emirates later this month.
The manager said Pakistan players have to sign the code of conduct before they leave for UAE on Oct. 23 to play two Twenty20 internationals, five ODIs and two test matches.
The International Cricket Council last week gave PCB one month to implement measures to protect the game from corrupt elements or face unspecified action.
