BP exec leaving board of Russian joint venture

The BP executive running the oil and exploration division embroiled in the disastrous Gulf of Mexico spill is leaving the board of the company's Russian joint venture.
Andy Inglis is giving up his board seat at TNK-BP to make room for BP PLC's outgoing CEO Tony Hayward.
BP is making the change because it can only have four representatives on the Russian joint venture's 11-seat board. The company previously announced Hayward would be joining the venture's board, but didn't disclose whom he would replace until Saturday.
Hayward is stepping down as BP's CEO on Oct. 1 after being criticized for his response to the worst oil spill in U.S. history.
Inglis will continue to oversee BP's oil and exploration operations.
