Chennai battles back to post 151-4

Subramaniam Badrinath hit 52 not out and shared a 73-run partnership with Srikkanth Anirudha as Chennai Super Kings racked 151-4 against Central Stags in their Champions League Twenty20 Group B match on Saturday.
Badrinath and Anirudha, with 42, rescued Chennai's faltering innings at Kingsmead after the Indian Premier League champions slipped to 5-2 against the unfancied New Zealand team.
Opener Matthew Hayden was out for a first-ball duck in the first over and Suresh Raina went four balls later to a sharp catch at slip by Brandon Diamanti.
Badrinath came to the crease in the second over and struck four fours and two sixes to lead Chennai's recovery and big-hitting allrounder Albie Morkel thumped two sixes in his 26 not out at the death.
