Norway's Petter Solberg has maintained his overall lead at the Rally Japan.
Solberg, driving a Citroen, won four of Saturday's eight special stages to take a 3.7 second lead over two-time Rally Japan winner Mikko Hirvonen.
France's Sebastien Loeb, who has a chance to win a seventh consecutive world title on Sunday, was in sixth place 37.9 second behind Solberg.
Loeb holds a 58-point lead over compatriot Sebastien Ogier in the championships standings with four rounds remaining.
Loeb would need to win this weekend and have Ogier, Jari-Matti Latvala, Solberg and Dani Sordo all finish lower than seventh to secure the title.
