Toronto police say they've executed a search warrant at the offices of the Toronto Blue Jays in relation to the perjury case against seven-time Cy Young winner Roger Clemens.
Police spokesman Const. Tony Vella said Thursday two officers visited the Blue Jays in the last few weeks and assisted the U.S. Justice Department by turning over documents they obtained.
Vella called it a U.S. investigation and declined further comment.
Clemens pleaded not guilty last month to charges of lying to Congress about whether he used steroids or human growth hormone. He won Cy Young Awards in Toronto in 1997 and 1998.
Blue Jays spokesman Jay Stenhouse says the team does not comment on pending court matters.
