RadioShack goes to court over Lombardy race snub

Lance Armstrong's RadioShack team is seeking compensation from sport's highest court after being left out of the Tour of Lombardy lineup.
RadioShack said in a statement it has appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, claiming Italian race organizer RCS Sport broke a contract by not including the American team in its Oct. 16 event.
RadioShack said it was "totally surprised" to learn of its exclusion this week after reaching an agreement with RCS in January.
The Tour of Lombardy is among the five most established one-day classics known as the Monuments.
It's the final big event of the season and the last chance for riders and teams to earn points in the International Cycling Union's world rankings.
