Taipei, Sept. 10 (CNA) The Taiwan Stock Exchange's main index opened higher Friday from its previous close, moving up 65.02 points at 7,900.56 on a turnover of NT$4.101 billion (US$128.16 million).
The weighted price index lost 15.77 points, or 0.20 percent, to close at 7,835.54 Thursday.
