Goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini made six saves, including two in the final three minutes to help Tottenham draw with the San Jose Earthquakes 0-0 in a friendly on Saturday.
Cudicini, who missed much of last season recovering from wrist and pelvis injuries from a motorcycle accident, played solidly in Tottenham's first tune-up before the start of the English Premier League next month. He made three saves in the first half.
San Jose's Javier Robles missed a free kick that sailed high and over the net in the 87th minute while Arturo Alvarez was wide on his attempt two minutes later. Tottenham recovered and had a chance to score late but Gareth Bale missed high from close range in the final seconds.
