Two-time defending champion Argentina has scraped into the final of the Women's Champions Trophy with a last-minute goal to beat China 4-3 and shut out host England.
A draw with China would have prevented Argentina from reaching Sunday's final and advanced England to its first finale, but Noel Barrionuevo scored in her fifth successive match from a last-gasp penalty corner to rescue the Argentines on Saturday.
Argentina will meet Olympic and world champions the Netherlands in the final. No. 2-ranked Argentina beat the top-ranked Dutch 4-2 in the round-robin on Thursday.
