Hezbollah chief wants spies for Israel executed

The leader of the militant Hezbollah group has called for the swift execution of Lebanese citizens sentenced to death for spying for Israel.
Hassan Nasrallah's comments come three days after a military court in Lebanon sentenced a Lebanese man to death for giving Israel locations of military and civilian targets bombed during the 2006 Israel-Hezbollah war.
It was the second death sentence in recent years in Lebanon against a person spying for Israel.
Nasrallah told a crowd of hundreds of Hezbollah supporters Friday that the executions should be carried out "without any delay." He said doing so would deter people from spying in the future.
His comments also comes after the recent arrest of two senior officials at a cellular telecommunication on suspicion of giving security information to Israel.
