Contador wins Dauphine prologue

Alberto Contador of Spain has won the prologue of the Criterium du Dauphine.
The two-time Tour de France champion completed the 6.8-kilometer time trial around Evian-les-Bains in 8 minutes, 34 seconds on Sunday.
American rider Tejay Van Garderen took second place, two seconds behind Contador.
Contador has already won three races this season: Tour of Algarve, Vuelta de Castilla and Leon and Paris-Nice.
On Monday, riders have a 191-kilometer route from Evian-les-Bains to Saint-Laurent-du-Pont. The race ends Sunday in Sallanches.
