Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti says he considers England coach Fabio Capello a "candidate" to succeed Jose Mourinho should the Portuguese leave the European champions.
Moratti has said he is resigned to Mourinho moving to Real Madrid in the wake of Inter's 2-0 victory over Bayern Munich in the Champions League final.
Moratti told Gazzetta dello Sport TV on Friday that "Capello is one of the candidates and he certainly has much to offer."
Earlier in the week, Capello removed a post-World Cup break clause from his contract and said he is only concentrating on his first World Cup as a coach.
Capello previously led Inter's rival AC Milan, coaching the club to one Champions League and four league titles.
