Survey: Germans unhappy with Merkel, government

German discontent with Chancellor Angela Merkel and her coalition government has reached near four-year lows in the wake of the unpopular Greek bailout.
A survey by Infratest dimap Institute for public broadcaster ARD released Friday showed Merkel's popularity has plummeted to 48 percent _ her worst showing in nearly four years.
Of the 1,000 people surveyed, 58 percent said they thought the previous government of Merkel's conservatives and the center-left Social Democrats would be better than the ruling coalition.
One of the biggest concerns was the financial crisis and 75 percent thought the worst was yet to come.
The survey was taken on May 26. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 1.4 to 3.1 percentage points.
