Dallas-Chicago ends 1-1

David Ferreira of Dallas and Chicago's Brian McBride scored in the first half, before their MLS clash petered out to a lifeless 1-1 draw on Thursday.
The game featured only five shots, three by Chicago. Dallas had the only shot in the second half.
Dallas went ahead in the sixth minute when Colombian playmaker Ferreira ran onto a long looping ball.
The tracking defender stumbled, Ferreira dribbled around him then sidestepped another and shot into the top left corner past Fire goalkeeper Andrew Dykstra.
The equalizer came when Justin Mapp played a long throughball to former Everton and Fulham striker McBride, who got behind his defender and crisply headed past Dallas goalkeeper Kevin Hartman.
Chicago almost snatched it in stoppage time at the end of the match. A corner reached the far post, where Baggio Husidic and Dasan Robinson each got a foot on the ball but neither could get a clear shot on goal.
The Fire, who failed to score in two international friendlies last week, has a four-game winless streak in MLS and Dallas has gone three without victory.
