A Pakistani man being held in a terrorism investigation in Chile is getting a visit from his parents.
Mohammed Saif Ur Rehman Khan was arrested at the U.S. Embassy in Santiago this month after authorities said they found traces of explosives on his things.
Khan contends the readings were a mistake, saying he wants America to be safe and secure. His parents are expressing hope Chilean courts will find him innocent.
Father Mahmood Ahmed Khan said Thursday in Santiago that he believes and trusts in Chilean justice. But mother Parvin Mahmood says she fears for her son's well-being.
A spokesman for Chile's prison police force said the Khans will be able to visit their son in a high security prison no later than Friday.
