Capello says Rooney is ready after injuries

England coach Fabio Capello has said that striker Wayne Rooney is fully fit for England's World Cup campaign.
Rooney suffered knee, ankle and groin problems over the last two months of the season, but Capello is certain Rooney's problems are behind him.
"Rooney is fine. He's not been scoring recently, but I'm pleased with what he's doing in training because he's at 100 per cent," Capello told Sky Sports Italia.
"One player doesn't make a difference and even though Rooney lifts everyone, it is the team that wins," Capello said. "Above all when you play in a World Cup it is the team spirit that is the key."
South Africa will be Capello's first World Cup as coach and after a near-perfect qualifying campaign England has been installed among the favorites.
However, Capello knows from experience that pre-tournament predictions count for little. He was part of an aging and divided Italy squad at the 1974 World Cup that fell at the first round.
"We have to train well, want to win and be determined," Capello said. "It is enjoyable working with the players, they are very good technically and I am satisfied with the work he have done in this period."
Capello believes that there are a number of teams who can win the World Cup.
"Spain is very, very dangerous and European Champion," he said. "Argentina is the most talented team and Brazil is very, very compact and with the best pedigree, with a style more European than Brazilian.
"Let's not forget that Italy is world champion. Germany is a team you never consider, but always reaches the last four and the Netherlands is another team to consider."
England plays its last warm-up game against Japan in Graz on Sunday before playing the United States in its opening World Cup match in Rustenburg on June 12.
