Sudanese president sworn in after election win

Sudan's president has been sworn in for another five-year term following an election that was marred by boycotts and fraud allegations.
Omar al-Bashir is the only head of state to be re-elected while facing an international arrest warrant for war crimes. He is sought by the International Criminal Court for allegedly masterminding atrocities in Darfur.
Thursday's swearing-in ceremony in Khartoum comes a day after the ICC reported Sudan to the U.N. Security Council for refusing to arrest two other Sudanese officials _ a government minister and a militia leader. The two are also suspected of war crimes in the war in Darfur, which claimed 300,000 lives.
Sudan doesn't recognize the ICC and refuses to cooperate or hand over its citizens to the tribunal.
