Sercan Yildirim scored early in the second half to lead Turkey to a 2-0 victory over Northern Ireland in a friendly match Wednesday.
Yildirim, who replaced Nuri Sahin at halftime, put a close-range shot past goalkeeper Alan Blayney in the 48th minute.
Semih Senturk, another substitute who came on in the 71st, made it 2-0 when he fired a shot inside the left post from the top of the box.
Both teams failed to qualify for the World Cup in South Africa and are preparing for the qualifying stages of the 2012 European Championship.
Turkey plays the World Cup-bound United States on Saturday in Philadelphia. Northern Ireland will play Chile on its home soil Sunday.
