Prague braces for Obama-Medvedev visit

Police in Prague are preparing a mammoth security operation for a meeting Thursday between the presidents of the U.S. and Russia.
Police chief Oldrich Martinu says 5,000 officers will be deployed during the visit of President Barack Obama and Dmitry Medvedev, who will sign a landmark nuclear weapons treaty.
Martinu said Tuesday that strict security measures will be in place. The Prague Castle, where the presidents will sign the deal, will be sealed off.
Massive security is expected also at the hotels where the presidents will stay _ Obama in Prague's Hilton and Medvedev in Four Seasons _ and at the U.S. ambassador's residence, where Obama will meet 11 leaders from central and eastern Europe.
