UN: 3 UN personnel killed in north Congo clashes

Congo's information minister says a South African U.N. pilot was killed in clashes between the Congolese military and a militia earlier this week, along with two other U.N. workers.
Information Minister Kisimba Ngoy says the death toll on Tuesday was 29 people, including three U.N. workers. Also killed in Sunday's attack in the town of Mbandaka were a Ghanaian peacekeeper and a civilian worker.
The Congolese army started battling Enyele militiamen in November after fighting started between the Enyele and Munzale tribesmen reportedly over farming and fishing rights.
Congo's president is calling for the U.N.'s 20,000-strong peacekeeping force to leave before September 2011, but no date has been agreed upon.
