Taiwan TTB proposes the shuttle bus service in tourist attractions

Taiwan’s Tourism Bureau (TTB), Ministry of Transportation, recently proposes a “Taiwan Trip,” that features shuttle bus service for 20 tour routes to visitors. The service of 9 routes is now already hitting the road, while the others will get on track before the end of June, according to Liberty Times report.

Janice Lai, the Director General of TTB, noted that tourists can visit whatever desirable places by train or high speed rail with the convenient shuttle bus. Furthermore, the price is affordable with intensive interval service. For example, the shuttle bus for the Daxi line in Taoyuan, dispatched every 30 minutes, costs only NT$100.

The service includes spring-famous Chiao Hsi, Yilan, Anpin, Tainan, the ancient capital city of Taiwan and many famous tourist attractions. What is surprising is that Chiao Hsi and Dongshan River routes are free of charge through the year. Anpin and Taijiang routes will also be served gratis until the end of June.

Other routes such as Taroko National Park, Liuqiu and Xi Tou will be operated respectively no later than midyear.
